Every good film, play and television show begins with a story. If you have one to tell, especially one that you imagine on a screen, at Webster University you will have the chance to study with professional writers who have produced work that has taught them the finer points of crafting powerful stories that engage readers and audiences, stories that grab someone's attention and then keeps them riveted until "The End."
Graduates who majored in Scriptwriting or who took courses in the program have worked for network television dramas and comedies including, among others, "Raising Hope," "In Plain Sight," "The Last Ship," and "The Mysteries of Laura." Others have written feature films, produced and written for children's web series, and have won significant contests with their scripts.
